I tried to get a doe this weekend but only had bucks close enough. Had 10 on a small food plot and got to watch the spar for a about 20 min until it got dark. Seems kinda late for that kind of activity. I'm pretty sure the second rut is over here.

Anyone else still out trying? I might get one more shot at a doe. The season ends here Jan 15.

I'm either going this weekend or next if the weather holds to try for a doe and some predators. The only problem is the wifes birthday is the 1st so I may be in trouble if I head out this weekend. :eek2:

Our season ends Friday here. Looks like I will not be able to get back out by then to lay a doe down. I'm off Friday but as luck would have it I gotta go in for a dang colonoscopy. Ugh lol Oh well part of getting older I suppose.
