I used a Remington model-700 BDL chambered in 375-R.U.M. forALL of my hunting one year. I used it the fall of 2005 & sold it for a new bow the spring of 2006. The gun shot great with my handloads. I just did not need the power it provided.
I will say this it was a fun gun to hunt with. Not to fun to sight-in off the bench. Not too bad to shot standing up.I learned to manage the recoil. This gun even made me shoot better. I now shoot with better off-hand form with all my rifles. EKM, helped me with the recoil issue. I would recommend a sims limbsaver reoil pad. I would not recommend a muzzle brake.
