Glad you got one! I just switched to rage hypodermics. Hoping to find out how they do next week!

I heard those hypodermics make some pretty serious holes. Put one down and show us.

After 2 sets nothing so far this weekend. The wind is killing me. Consistent 20mph gusting to 30mph. Seen a couple does out of range and that's it. Tucked in now for the afternoon hopefully with something to show for it. I'm also using the hypodermics first time this year so hopefully I can show you guys what they do! Good luck and safe hunting to everyone getting out!

Doe #2 I put down this evening at 6:15. They were definitely moving earlier tonight than they were when the temps were in the 70's. I will post a pic later.

Here is a pic of my 2nd doe. I did get in the stand later than I wanted but it all worked out. I was walking to my stand and already saw 2 deer by my stand. I usually don't let that bother me much so I kept on walking up to the stand. I was all settled in the stand by 5:54. By 6:10 I saw 6 deer coming my way. Four of them were fawns. There were 2 mature does in the group so I decided to take out the first one that gave me a shot. At 6:15 I shot one of the mature does and she crashed about 50 yards away from the stand. Now, here is the part that I am baffled by. When I shot her I saw where the arrow impacted and I thought it was a pass through. I saw no arrow sticking out on either side of her as she ran away. I got down to retrieve the arrow and I could not find it. So, I thought well maybe it wasn't a pass through and I just didn't see it. I saw her laying onn the ground and there was definitely no arrow sticking out of her. So, I thought I did soot her at a steeper angle so maybe the arrow is buried in her. I gutted her and there was no arrow in her and I looked her over really good about 10 times. There was no exit hole anywhere to be found and I am positive when I shot her I could not see an arrow sticking out of her. So, my question is where is that arrow?

No harvest for me this past weekend. Saw some good young bucks but not any shooters. Biggest I saw was a 120" 8 ptr. I did not even see many does which was surprising. I did pull my cameras and get a couple pictures of a couple studs, hoping I can cross paths with these guys at some point during the season.
