When do we write them off and ask the mods for alternates?

I don't know. I thought that was up to them to take care of it. At least I sent them a message letting them know. Not that first one has responded. Oh well.

They need to combine teams 6 and 9, seems like both are really lacking check ins. Very surprising, I've been doing these contests for about 6 years and never had more than 2 people not check in.

Anybody seeing any good bucks yet? I have a few 130 to 140 on camera. I know the neighbor has some giants on camera. Should be a good October!

I sent a PM to fieldmouse. He's gonna give it a week for alternates to sign up and then fix the teams. It looks bad, but it sounds like he's got it under control.

I checked cameras a couple weeks ago. All I had on film was does and smaller bucks. The only bucks that were repeat customers were a spike and a sixer. I'm not too concerned, though. I expect bigger bucks are still in bachelor groups around here. Another couple weeks and a good cold snap and I figure I'll start seeing more action. I'm also surrounded by some big corn fields that are about to get cut, so patterns are gonna change in a big way soon.

I leave in the morning for WV for a 3 day rifle bear season. I'll try to check in. See ya next week!
