It's a no-wake lake so a small boat won't have any problem. (unless of it's windy of course.)
It's not a real big lake. LastSpring the water was down so a shallower drafting boat was needed. Later the water went up and we had no problems with a full load of people and carp on the boat. However, it does get really, really weedy by mid-summer. So don't wait too long.
Also, it's a busy lake during the daytime, particularly on weekends. Sunday night thru Thursday night isprobably best.
You will see some nice bass out there too. Almost big enough to make you want to bring along a fishing pole.
