I'm sure one day I'll here that click without a boom, but so far my greatest blunder has been hittng my release on my bow and watching my arrow fall to the ground like a 2 year old threw it at the deer. The Buck looked up at me like "Is that the best you got Dude?" And he slowly moved away as I fumbled around knocking another arrow.
Will be going to a spot in the morning as well to scout and listen to what the birds are doing in Lanesville IN. I have seen great birds there during the off season but have yet to take one during the season due to what I think is either to many yotes or people hunting them and bumping them out of the valley and off the ridges where they roost. Happy Hunting this weekend team mates, bag some beards for the tally.

Here's one to get your blood pumping. My good hunting buddy shot #5 and limited out this morning. That's not the best part, he was sporting a 1-1/2" and 1-5/8" set of spurs! Now let's go get us one boys!!!!!

Let us know if you hear any this morning!

Never heard a single gobble this morning. Although I did hear one fly off the roost.

Turkman, that's a dang good lookin bird! Glad to see it posted!!

Arrow, man you got to get out there and find a hot bird! You probably got one fattening up as we speak that just gobbles to hear himself!!

Looks like he needs a ride in your pick up and then a long stay in some smoker with a bacon wrap for warmth. I hope he saves the last dance for you!
