Went to Ohio this weekend and hung a couple of stands and a trail cam. I found out that there seems to be more hunters hunting this property than we originally thought. I can't complain though, it's a place to hunt with good potential.
We didn't get the 207 acres in Muskingum County at the auction we were trying to buy. I guess 2nd place counts for something. Congrats to the doe kills guys. Saturday is our 1st day! |

They stayed there for at least 20 minutes and they worked away from me. Then sitting in my stand I was looking at the ground just under and behind my stand when I seen a shadow moving.  So I called up the landowner quick and we ended up having to chase this bull around to get him back to the pasture. Always next weekend!Good goin SD for putting us on the board!!! She looks tasty! nice shot too! |

I went into town in search of some Rage Xtreme broadheads but after 2 hours of going from store to store, I came up empty handed. Ended up purchasing a set of 125gr Rage Slipcams. They're my first experience with mechanicals & I'm going to keep my G5 Montects in my quiver but I'm going to retire the Muzzys & give these Rage Slipcams a fair shot.
I hope they're worth the $$$$. |
i dont think you will be disapointed in those Rages, but try to find the xtrem, its a bigger cut, i like rage cause the fly exactly like a field point

The 3 pack came with a practice head, which I like. The cut diameter is 2". My Montecs are 1 1\8 That's a huge difference in killability.
