Great looking Bobcat. Get a weight on it? Gonna have it mounted or anything? I was out for fourteen hours this past weekend. Saw several doe a 4 point, 5 point and a big 8 point. Nothing gave me a good shot though unfortunately. I'll be back out this weekend.

Didn't put it on a scale, but gotta be between 25-30lbs (heavier that she looks!). Checking with a few taxidermists around here on pricing. I'd like to do a full body, but may end up with a shoulder mount just because of how much space it would take up.

I'd be going with a full mount or a rug for the wall. Make a post about it when you get it done if you can, I'd like to see it. I should be out this next Tuesday and Wednesday. Found a couple nice public land spots I want to try.

I’m back from 9 days in the woods and came home empty handed. Had a few days of young bucks chasing but most of my sits I never saw a deer! Never seen anything like it. The seasons not over yet so I’ll be back out!

Didn't see anything that last Friday before rifle season, then Sat am I had an 8pt walk by within 10 yds that I would thought hard about taking with a bow. Ended up taking another doe with the rifle as well as a coyote. This past Sat (2nd wknd of rifle) there were 3 bucks over 140 seen within yards of 2 of my bow stands. I'm still hoping to get back out there before the year is over.

I think we got hit pretty hard with it here too. Last year I saw 2 1/2yr old bucks everyday. This year I didn't see but a few.
