Hunted in the blind today while it rained and passed on a fork horn and a doe with twin fawn button bucks. Was hoping the 10 or one of his two buddies would have came down a little early for a snack since it had rained all day.

That is an awesome looking buck!!!!! Great job peakrut!!!!! I can't wait to see what he scores!!!!! Great job on the doe Ken. I was out this morning and I blew a couple chances. I was drawing on a nice doe and a doe behind me busted me. Then I got down a few minutes earlier than I said I was going to hunt and sure enough I was busted by 2 doe's. I may get out again this evening and I may not. I wil definitely be trying to get out Thursday evening and Friday morning.

Well it was a warm sit, didnt see anything this evening, but on my way out i heard one blowing at me man i hate spooking them. It sure was nice to be out though again. It sure is nice with the leave colors at there peak here. Ill be out a off and on thru the week hunting a few didnt spots. i hunted near an apple orchard this evening, going to try the oaks on the next hunt. It supposed to get really cold by the end of the week here there talking low 40's for high temps, that should help hunting as long as it the wind dosent blow 40 like there saying.

Had my first sit tonite, came up empty. Wind was east so couldn't hunt my new spot and went with an old standby. Seen some deer but way off. Closest was about 150 and it was there right as i got into the stand. Got setup without spookin it and thought it was gonna be a good set, but that was the best it did. Some ants waaayyy off and that was it. Doubt i'll get out again till friday, dads comin up and we will hit it hard this weekend. High of 45 on saturday so hopefully it will be good.
