I have never used the Snypers for Turkey but I kill lots of deer with them every year. They are an awesome head, the Snypers and the Rage are the 2 best mechanicals on the market. I never have had a problem with the rubber bands, but the Rage heads don't have rubber bands and are a very similar design you may want to try them if the rubberbands are a concern.
