Well I just cant decide ,I see that the stw has some great potential but I just cant see it fitting in my cabinet.I thought about a .264wm but I have a 6.5x284 so that canceled that out. I just have the itch to build.I guess something inbetween a .300wm and a 45/70 would be more fitting.I have

Well, if you go for cartridge spacing at all, then it looks like it is "thumper time."
50 BMG's are too heavy to hunt with for the most part, though they sure are fun --- the shock wave is a real sensation.
45-70's are great as a close quarters lever gun cartridge, but hardly king of the "458 hill."
That leaves you the wonderful zone of huntable, packable rifles between .325 and 416....
You might considera 416 Rigby, not for the faint of heart though.
Or for something truly easy going and fun, yet effective, a 375 H&H....
