Well once again I called another bird in, this time for my dad. It weighed 25lbs, had 1 5/8 inch spurs and an 11 inch beard.

Just 2 more days here. I will be able to go the first 5 days. I took a few days off work.

Well boys tomorrows the day. Ill be heading out with the bow in hand, heard a lot of gobbling this morning so hopefully the birds will cooperate. Wish me luck!

No luck this weekend, messed up on a gobbler. Headed back out Wednesday.

Well this morning sucked. To make long story short, my release broke so i went back to the house to grab the shotgun and when i got back to the blind there was a gobbler standin out in front of the blind. Oh well, im sure he'll be back and there was plenty of birds gobblin around. Ill be out there somewhere tomorrow.

Seems that none of us had a good opening day, i hope the season turns around for y'all like it did for me

I only heard some gobbling in the morning. Didn't see one turkey.
