RI... is that going to be the case for archery deer tags as well?
Tough luck tsaxybabe... I wish I could say I've never missed... stay at it and you'll stick one!
sounds like an exciting hunt, regardless!

As far as I know, it applies to all of the licenses. I'm glad I didn't put my $200 down for archery when its only gonna cost me $125.

W. MA- It looks like I was given some bogus info. The fees have been reduced, but it is more than a 25% increase over last year. Archery permit/tags is 35% over last years fee. $135 is still better than $200. There is a posted schedule of fee reductions at the CT DEP website.

Ok, now I'm dying here. Less than a week and a half until my season starts and I have to go to Norfolk for work all next week. I'll miss the first 3 days of the season. If I don't go to Norfolk I'll probably be jinxed and have horrible weather or miss an easy shot plus it won't look good at work. If I do go, I'll still have most of a month to hunt anyway, so it looks like I'll be waiting a little longer to get out there. I'll be flying back on Friday night and have to wake up at 0-dark-thirty to get to where I want to be on Saturday, so I may hunt a little clos er to home. Grrrrrrrr...
