Congrats boys!! Well done!
I now have the turkeys in my new area patterned, almost got a nice gobbler last sat. Running and gunning I had a gobbler in my sights and cornered on a ledge to a canyon (not my intention) I was trying to get ahead of him, anyway my gloves where to big and I couldn't get the safety off, I tried to shoot 3 times then he finally flew into the canyon and roosted LOL
I will go after him Thursday then if no luck I have the rest of the weekend to hunt the flock.
I cut the trigger finger out of those gloves so that will never happen again just in case and am going back to my no finger gloves I usually use.

Ok guys I had a great day today I filled my last tag. I got a pretty good bird this time. And I had lots to choose from. I was covered up this morning. I had a strutter at 60 yards. I pointed my gun at him and was watching him move closer when two more flew down at 15 yards on my exposed side they were looking right at me I thought I was busted. then the one at 60 gobbeled and they both looked at him. That is when I whiped my gun around and trained it on the bigger of the two. Then crack the little fan folding 20 gauge dropped him like a wet rag. It was a great morning. I hope this helps keeps us in the running. He was 15lbs 14ozs with a 10.5 inch beard his right spur 1inch left spur was7/8 inch. I need help posting the pic's from both birds.

The rain ended my hunting early this weekend but I hope to report some better news late next week.
