Been hearing a lot of good things about the full strut dekes, Wanted to try one but not pay the big price for em so i made one out of an old jake decoy. What do you guys think? Will it work?
22 days till the opener!!!!! Havent seen squat for birds yet but fired up anyway!!!!!

Yours should work fine. They are very effective at times.

I had mixed outcomes. I had 3 toms starting to come in, until they saw my Jake. They kind of skirted around and left the scene. Another time it attracted a Jake, which drew in 2 toms. I think it depends on the personality of the bird.
