My season starts in 1 week, I am hunting public land in Florida, will not be easy, but I hope to get 1 for the team. Good luck to everyone.

is it to late to check in?? my computer crashed and it got fixed finally yesterday. i wasn't sure what the deadline was to check in by

I am hunting public land, so my main challenge may be other hunters not the birds.
Went to one of my spots today, and about 300 yds from one of my birds, I found a new ground blind and lots of new tape. I also saw some new tape near one of my other birds.
Probably yhe same guy.
I will just have to see how it goes, 2 more weeks until I get to that spot.

Swamp, is that a trick question? lol! one a day, 5 a year....is the legal limit. That doesn't mean that I'll limit out! I've hunted too long to have that much hubris.

wow arjuna! Five birds, I need to pull stakes. We can only kill 2 here in Arkansas. Not alot to start with and several bad hatches the past few years.

I checked us in on the team captain page. I told them we do not have a team name or captain and we are missing one of our team members.
If we do not hear from NCRemington , we will need some one else.
Who would like to be captain?

I say we just make it 12 gauge turkey chokers and be done with it. And I'll be team captain.

I am ok with that.
If anybody objects speak up.
We are supposed to have a team name and captain by the 15th.

Hopefully this team hunts better than they check in and keep up with the team thread, lol.
