Team 10 - Weclome to your team thread! As we have more people sign up (in the alternate sign up thread) we will add more people to the teams.

Everyone needs to check in on this team (by posting here, on this team thread, so we know you're still in the contest).

First order of business is to pick a team captain. Each person should nominate a teammate that you think would be a good leader. Team Captain will score each turkey killed (NWTF Score) and post each hunter's bird (with pictures) in the results thread.

Im hunting in mid-Michigan....Saginaw area. How bout' yourself?

I'm in the northeast lower, hunt in the Hubbard Lake area, which is a little southwest of Alpena, plus i have a spot in Ossineke and hopefully a spot in Onaway.

Its just knd of a play on words Mottz, El Diablo is originally a spanish word for the devil but is used for a lot of things,Google it. I stuck the GOBble in there and thought it sounded kinda cool, I don't know, maybe i'm just weird!! :confused0024:

Alright, this is my schedule. April 1-2-3 hunting Osceolas in Florida. April 16-17-18 in Kansas. April 24-May 1 hunting Iowa. Till the end of May filling any tags I have, and maybe working in trips to Nebraska. I'm already a captain on a large team on another Site, so prefer to coast here. My biggest complaint on contests is people who commit to a team, and disappear sometime during the contest. If you aren't serious about commitments you make in life, do us all a big favor and drop out before the contest, so we don't waste our time with this. If this isn't an issue with anyone on this team, cool. Let's kill some Turkeys, and have a good time. Heck, maybe even win it.

I'm gonna try to go back to my first post on page 1 and edit it and start keepin a list of who's checked in and their start dates. I know last yr was a bit of a bust for our team Jaybird, but the year befor that was very cool, dont give up hope, I'm sure we will put together an awsome team!!!!

For a captain I'm nominating j76. He was involved to the end on the contest last year, and involved in the posting, while 1/2 our team disappeared. I'll give him a hand if he needs or wants. He's already getting on rounding up our missing flock with pms.

Wow, that really is one heck of a schedule Jaybird!! Sounds like a lot of fun.

Im really looking forward to this season. Just bought me a brand new vest and just a couple hours ago ordered some parts to make myself a custom slate call.

Here in Michigan theres still plenty of snow on the ground, and a lot of slush. Just real messy. So far no sign of any warm up. I hate this part of the year. A month before season starts I constantly hope for warmer weather to dry some of this up.

I'm old. I'm trying to cram as much in as I can, while the legs still work. Kind of like JW. lol. As far as weather, being in Iowa is a crap shoot from day to day. This year sure has been a lot better than the last 2, as far as snow.

Well the snow is pourin doown yet again here in northern Mich!!!! Man i'm sick of this crap!!!!May have to invest in a camo snowsuit for this turk season!

Love Suh! Man, the guy is very very good, and that was only his rookie year. If he can improve, I cant imagine what kind of player he can be.

Just the Lions luck though that they finish the season with a 4 game win streak...momentum heading into next year...an All-Pro rookie defensive tackle...Now we dont even know if theres gonna be a 2011 season! Lol, just the Lions luck!

Sorry I'm a little late. I'll be only hunting in West Oklahoma this year. The season starts April 6 and ends May 6th. Can't promise anything but I'll give it my best shot..

I talked to mudchicken and he will be online in a few days. So make sure he is checked in.

Well, I was thinkin we should really start tryin to lock down a name and a captain, If nobody else wants the captain job, i'll do it but if anyone else is interested, speak up soon. As far as a name goes, heres a list of suggestions so far, i'll update this post if anyone has any more ideas. We need to have a name and a captian for sure by this Thursday i think.

You want to be capt j76, you have my vote. I guess if no one says anything just take that position. And if no one votes for a name you can pick that also.
