I shot a doe yesterday morning. She was good size and weighed 140 lbs. Dropped her in her tracks at twenty yards with my Rage broadheads. Now since I got one for the freezer, I will be buck hunting. The county I mainly hunt in has a two buck limit as long as one is with a bow. So now I am trying to fill those tags. I'm going to hold out for a nice one though.

This has been the longest week of my life...lol. 2 more days and I'll be in the deer woods for a full 9 days straight with nothing else to do. Congrats on the doe sk...

finnaly made it out for 5 days. started out pretty active, first morn saw 5 different bucks (biggest maybe only 110 or so). the weather got nicer and activity decreased. probably saw a total of 30 deer in the woods with the best buck the last morn. it great being in the woods, but nothing was put down.

Just a quick update about my Illinois hunt. As much as would have liked to tag out it just was not meant to be. I saw some big boys but just not in the right place. I am back hom and going to get back to it after a couple days of rest.

Well, I got a decent buck who had a case of ground shrinkage...lol I thought he would make P&Y but I kinda doubt it now. I couldn't find him the morning I shot him but ran into a guy who found him and took me to him. He was probably less than 100 yards from my treestand and I probably walked by him 4-5 times that morning. Good luck to the rest of you.

Awesome buck.... We were in 7th with just the two bucks, now looks like we will move up to third if huntingrocks buck scores at least 130 and I believe it will score better than that. Congrats.

Just a quick update from me. There is nothing to update. LOL! I did shoot what I thought was a doe last night and ended up being a button. I was about sick but I just did not see the buttons. I will be out tomorrow evening but the bucks have gone nocturnal. :mad:

Happy New Year! I am sorry but I was unable to help with a score for the team. I seen some Bucks but the shooters were never in range. Oh well, thats the way it goes sometimes.

Season ended today here in KY. I haven't been in the woods since my brother and I went over the Thanksgiving holiday. I hope everyone had a good season this year and wish you the best for next.
