I've been getting pics of turks and does/fawns. Here is a neat pic of a doe leading 4 fawns through an alfalfa field...

Im headed out today to look over a few areas and pick up a new pack of Muzzy's. A little over a week left here now. The cool evening and morning and the start of football has got me pumped.

Avatar and Team Name area great. Good work! Our season here starts Sept 18th. Have about 50 pictures of this guy and a half dozen of some smaller 8's. Hopefully he will come around during daylight. Good luck!

Hey guys, had a good time working the fields in VA. We plowed under ALL of the corn The dry summer left it with only small ears of about 5" and the bear/deer had cleaned them off already. Thankfully the beans are still looking good, and have plenty of bean pods, however the deer have kept them mowed to about 8" high! We also sprayed all our clover fields for weeds. We didnt plant yet due to the dry 10 day forecast, but we hope to get something in the ground next week. I hung a nice bow stand between 2 clover fields and I cant wait to hunt it! Found a shed about 20yrds from the stand!

Checked the cam's and had some nice bucks on them, so its just a matter of time now. MD season starts next week so I'll be out on Fri/Sat of next week, cant wait!

Looks like almost all of us are starting next week. Our opener is the 15th, 1 week from tomorrow!

Yeah, go ahead and rub it in. I've still gotta wait until the 25th.

Ed - take the helm if no one else steps forth.

Either one of you two have my vote. I had my fill of "leadership" in the Navy. Besides, I'm still a "newbie" when it comes to bowhunting.
