Nice bucks guys!! Really like yours there Ron!
I Just got back from 10 days in southern Iowa. Weather was way to warm and there was allot more pressure in the area I was hunting than the last time I was there, I mean ALLOT. Anyways, passed on 4 bucks in that 145-160 range. I went down wanting someting better than 160 and couldn't find it, but had a good time anyways. About 2 day from the end I rattled in a 160 class 4x4, unfortunatly one half of his rack was snapped off just passed the brow "or he would have got it!". Headed to Manitoba sunday with my son but thats a rifle hunt. I still have time at home to fill me bow tag so we'll see what happens.
Congrats to those of you that have scored and good luck to the rest!

1st off Congrats to RonPenner, Rackluster and Gri22ly get bucks. For me well as luck would have it, I can not get them to come in or a heat wave comes. Friday I hunted in a heat wave that came through. Now the next two weekends I have to be in training for a new job. Now it looks at if Thanksgiving will be the next time I get to hunt.

Hey Guys, anyone know, was there something I was supposed to do to get the buck recorded on our score or does it just take a while?

I'll get the scores updated soon. Sorry for the delay. I've been hunting a lot and I leave the house at 3:30 am and don't get home until 7:30pm and then it's work, shower and bedtime.
(and I don't even have a buck to show for all this)
Sorry!!

Guys, I'm officially done hunting this year. I got this buck on Wisconsin rifle opener. my 3rd buck of the year. each buck got bigger than the previous. still not a monster but i'm happy. we was chasing a doe. i shot him on a dead run about 2 yards away from my stand. no getting him in the scope, i just pointed and shot. funny thing is he was in exactly the same spot as the 8 pointer i got 3 weeks ago. dropped him in his tracks. i got a doe about an hour before him. years done - 5 deer, 3 bucks. good luck the rest of the year guys!

I shot a buck Saturday morning. I will post pics and a score later this week. He won't score all that well. He had a nice left rack, but his right side must have been damaged in velvet and only has two points. He was a mature deer and I was running out of days so I dropped him.
