I didn't get to go out this evening. It looks like I won't be going back out until Monday evening.

I'm still waiting to get my bow back. They said the end of the week again. I really hope so prime time is drawing closer every day.

I enjoyed a nice sit in the tree stand this evening. I saw alot of deer just nothing I wanted to shoot. I saw a couple bucks off in the distance but they didn't appear to be shooters. I will be heading back out in the morning and then again tomorrow evening.

This morning was an uneventful sit. I only busted a few out on the way into the stand. As far as our bows go I was told last Friday it should be this Friday. I have heard that like 3 straight weeks now so I'm not very encouraged by that

Getting ready to go back out this evening. I'm headed to the property where I seen Twin Towers. I haven't been there in 9 days. So, hopefully the deer feel a little more at ease and get back on their normal travel routes. If I see any shooters this evening, I will be flinging an arrow it's way, buck or doe. Wish me luck!!!!! I didn't see any at all. I wonder if the October lull is hitting already. This was the second straight I didn't see any deer. Well, I won't be going back out until thursday evening. It is suppose to start raining Wednesday night and quit around hunting time Thursday afternoon. I will definitely be giving it a try Thursday afternoon. The temperatures are also suppose to be 15-20 degrees colder also. Sounds like it could make for a very interesting evening.

I will be going out this evening. It will be much colder than it has been. I will be sitting in one of the new stands I put up in the summer for the first time. It is on the very top of an oak ridge. The other day when I was out I heard acorns dropping like crazy. Where this stand sits there are like 4 or 5 major trails criss crossing right where this stand is. This will be the coldest evening of the hunting season so far. So, maybe, just maybe, Brutus will come my way and I will send an arrow right into his chest.

Been out in PA in the WMU 3A and haven't seen a deer yet this season while on stand. Gotta love northcentral PA!!

I seen 2 right at the end of legal shooting light. They were too far away and I think they were a doe and a fawn. I will be going back out maybe Saturday morning. Definitely Saturday evening, Sunday morning and Sunday evening. I will probably be going out Monday morning and evening as well. Good luck to everyone else.

Well I blew it this morning. I missed a very nice 9 point. At 8am I caught movement to my left. He came right in but trotted through two of my shooting lanes. He stopped behind a large tree that was leaning. I took a step back in my tree stand at let the arrow go. The problem was the brush that I didn't see. I believe it knocked the arrow down. We looked for two hours never finding any trace of blood. I never found my arrow that is why we looked for so long just in case. It has me seriously bummed out! Enough that I didn't even go out tonight! It will be hard to believe that I will get another chance at another buck of that caliber. I will surely try though! I shot my bow tonight, it wasn't the bows fault! Just the person behind the bow. I am glad I missed but it really shakes my confidence though.
