I have3 half days to kill a turkey, but I'll give it my best.

Hey everyone, just checking in. I'm usually on this site more, but work's been a bear and with how slow the connection's been lately I just haven't had the time.

I've got some good areas lined up so I'm hoping to put my first archery turkey down this year.

Checkin in! I Will be hunting some big toms out of Southwest Michigan.

What kind of heads is everybody on team 6 using? This is my first year trying to whack a bird with my hoyt. I have some Rage 2 blades and was going to give those a shot? How about the rest of you?

I have some gobbler guillotines I've never shot. However, I'll probably end up using my muzzy broadheads.

I've never actually killed a turkey with my bow. [:-] Haven't even done the Spring turkey hunting thing since 1989. []

That ought to make you guys nervous.

I was over at my buddy's house yesterday patterning the shotgun and we checked the trail cam and there are a ton of birds over there. We haven't seen any longbeards yet, but the birds are all still in their winter groups. They'll definitely be around with all those ladies around.

I'm starting to get fired up.

You guy sure are a bunch of chatterboxes.

I'm headed out to western IL today. I'll have three half-days to try and get a bird. I think I have abouta 1 in 100 chance. (I'm an optomist!) [:-]
