Well boys, the turkeys are here. Every year on the ranch where I work the turkeys wait untill well..... right about now to show back up. In the past 3 days I have seen 4 gobblers every day. I am hoping that more are to come, I got like 3 birds that I need to get people on besides myself. Hope we dont kill em all..

Ok lots more birds here now. I counted about 12 here the other day. Then I went to another one of my potential turkey spots in another part of the state and cant even count the birds there tons. Season cranks up April 6 and it cant get here soon enough.

Well guys, I just added another state for this season. My boss stopped by Friday and someone in my group had to go on a turkey hunting trip in Ohio. Being the trooper that I am, I volunteered! Just heard back from our host this morning and it looks like I'm headed there April 22nd. That's the first week of our season too, but I would have been stuck in the office anyway.
