Alright everyone! I am Jenna (kydeerhunter03) and I am checking in for Team 15! I got my eyes on a few nice bucks that should all score 140's or better. Hopefully I can bag one haha good luck to everyone!

Hey everyone, just checking in. Hope everyong has a couple nice bucks locked in for the soon to be here season. I have my eyes on a couple "nice for PA" bucks. We'll see how things play out!

checking in from iowa, hope to bag one this year. had a shot at a nice 8 pointer last year but made a typical rookie mistake of not following through and missed. have only seen a couple of does so far, but I know the bucks are out there.

Checkin' in, I'm gonna be a little slow starting this year as my first hunting priority is ELK, but once I get back home, I hope to hammer a nice buck that I had a couple encounters with last year but he averted a deathly arrow strike both times. Hopefully with a little change of plans, this year turns out a little different.

Not really into the trail camera's, baiting, foodplots, etc. I just prefer to HUNT them, figure their patterns, sneak in and place a stand, and put the smackdown on a nice buck (over 130"). I always whack a couple does, but unfortunately, they're not worth anything here.

anyone have an idea for a team name and computer savy enough to make a cool avatar for us. when does the season start for you? here in iowa it's october 1 through december 4th. then december 21st through january 10th, the split is for our two shotgun seasons.

Team names I have been pondering, but cant really think of anything catchy yet. I am somewhat "ok" at making the avatars....I made your teams last year Dman haha so I can make one if we cant find anyone else to do it.

Season starts September 5th here in KY. Cant wait!!! Here is the one I got my eyes on.

I know! he has a few other buddies that wont score that much less than him. I am super excited about this season, I am having a good feeling about it!!:biggrin:

Nice pictures. I'll try to post up some up before too long. Should be a good year for me as I've locked up more than 1,000 more acres of some of the best private land around where I live.

MECHDOC checking in! I will be hunting all over IL and Southeast WI. I aquired a few new hunting propertys this season so I hope I can score big on them. I just recently put the trailcams out so I hope to be reporting good news back soon. It looks like we got a strong team this year. This is where I'll be again this year

Loess Hills State Forest is located in west-central Iowa in Harrison and Monona Counties. It is comprised of 4 units totaling 11,266 acres. The Little Sioux Unit, 3,627 acres, lies between the towns of Little Sioux and Pisgah. The Pisgah Unit, 2,549 acres, is located east of Pisgah.This is all public hunting ground and the last two years I've hunted it I've only seen 3 other people there.

I guess other states just have more access to nice public ground. We have 3 within 30 minutes of us, but they are only like 200 acres a piece. And EVERYONE hunts them....so its tough.

Don't let Jenna kid you guys - she's great at making av's.

I sent reminders to everyone except Todd McDuffie. It said he didnt recieve PM's. I can send another if needed.

I sat last night because I have to take care of 5 crop damage permits. I have to shoot 5 does before Sept 13th. Can be bow or gun. I saw quite a few deer, one pretty nice buck. He was 10 points, about 8-9" on the G2's and G3's, but short on the brows and G4's. I would say he was about a 140" buck though. Watched him for about a half hour. Closest he got was 40 yards. Saw quite a few deer really. I'll be back out again to do my part.

Cool. I would be perfectly content with hunting does right now, I just want to be in the woods with my bow!

I am working on getting all these members emailed and PM'd and any other form of contact I can find. Rob is having a major problem with the No-shows this year. Oh boy

It wasn't with a bow, but I already have one doe down for the year. Too many mosquitos for "field pics".

Well congrats on the doe! My bow is giving me so many problems im about to throw it over the hill:s6:

You had better get it figured out before too long! I actually thought about coming down to KY to bowhunt the first week of season. I really want to shoot one in velvet.
