Finally got to get out today after being sicker then a dog for the past week and a half. Saw a doe and a fawn on hte way out, 1 doe while on stand, and then just before dark, I saw a Huge bodied buck about 75 yards away, but I couldnt tell how big the rack was. Only have a couple of weeks left before the guns hit the woods.

well, hopefully tonight i can get out. It is over a month into the season and still haven't been in a mn tree. The wind is good, the wife is gone till late, so as long as i can get out of the office at a decent time, i will be good to go.

good luck all.

Made it out - yeah. saw a total of 4 deer - three of them close. Two does and a fawn. Not ready to fill a doe tag - but they gave multiple opportunities. LB (little buck) at about 200 yards. Trying again in the AM - but in the woods instead of the wide open.

Good luck All.

Sat morn - didn't see a deer, but missed a squirrel at 20 yards. Anyone else out over the weekend?

Heading back to ND friday for five days - should be some good timing and the weather doesn't look to bad.

Good luck all.

I hunted fri. afternoon and saw 9 does/fawns and 2 small bucks.

Sunday afternoon was more of the same. I couldn't hunt sat. due to my Son's last football game and plans in the afternoon/evening with friends.

I am going to try to slip out a couple of times this week if work will allow it.

Passed on a small 7 pt yesterday morning, but saw a shoeter 8 pt chasing a doe later in the morning. No shot oppurtunities on the 8. Have 3 days off next week for the rut so I will be hitting the stand hard.

Helped a buddy tonight recover a deer and had an interesting end to it. Two hours before dark I saw a 145" shooter with stickers jump into a tree strip that I have permission on and where i harvested my buck in 07. Hoping to get off work early enough to hunt tomorrow night. Things are heating up in nebraska. Hope to get one down in the next two weeks. Good Luck to everyone.

Went out tonight in the 35 degree drizzle. Had 8 does within 20 yards and saw two bucks. One basket 6 point and a old nontypical buck. Both came to about 50 yards and moved on to the south. It was a good hunt and i hope to get out in the next couple days again.

Heading out in the morning to a stand that I have been dying to get in to. I need a North or a West wind and they are calling for a West wind until about 10:00 tomorrow morning. As long as the forecast holds true, I should be in pretty good shape. I will post the results.

Good luck to all of you heading out tomorrow!
