I can't wait either. I plan on heading to OH to scout some public land one of the next couple weekends. Deer season in MI starts Oct. 1st...thats rapidly approaching.
If you guys are seeing or getting trailcam pics of bucks, have they lost their velvet yet? None of the ones we've seen in MI have so I am just curious as to whats going on in other areas.

Have some that have lost and some that haven't Brent. Seems to me in years past, most of my bucks loose theirs around Sept 5-7th.

Heading out this afternoon, they are calling for rain but its like a 40% chance so i will be out there, I have shot some nice deer in the rain!!..

I am actually hoping that we get the 40% rain that they are calling for. My turnips need an infusion. I will be out this afternoon spreading some urea and praying for rain to put it in the ground. Good luck 818.

Ben you will get the rain its just a matter of WHEN, cause the size of the system comeing up the coast is BIG!!
