Though out the six years of bowhunting turkeys , I only harvested one hen during the fall turkey season but I managed to call in three tom's for other hunting buddies.
So there you have it ... my turkey hunting resume.

since this IS the BOWHUNTING turkey contest....lets limit it to that.
This will be myfourth spring hunting turkeys with the bow. 2 years ago I shot a 20# 7" beard 3/4" spurs...Last year I shot a jake 3" beard 1/4" spurs. Should be a fun year, lots of birds around.

11th year after turkeys.

2nd with the bow.

Had plenty of opportunities to shoot birds with 4" and less beards, but elected to pass. Missed one at 47 yards on the last day I hunted. Kind of a Hail Mary, keep your fingers crossed deal. Over his head by about 2". [&:]

IDK how many years ive been after turkeys, probably since 2000 or so.Started out on my own, learned as i went. My first turkey hunt was my dads first as well.This will be the first year with the bow though.

Ive bowhunted for turkeys one time and it was on video and i missed, to make matters worse my brother then shot the gobbler with his shotgun [:@]
