Wondering what kind of turkey hunting resume's we have among us. I know we've got some talented turkey hunters in this group.

So.....since this IS the BOWHUNTING turkey contest....lets limit it to that.

Me.....This is my second year hunting them with a bow.....having taken my first bow gobbler last year.

What about you?

Alright well, since we're limiting it to BOWHUNTING... here it is:

I've actually only bowhunted turks in the spring for about 4 years:

6- Long beards
3- Hens (Fall Season)
1- Jake (Fall Season)

First year to try it with a bow.

Been chasing em with a gun for 12 tho. The place I hunted before wasn't well suited to huntin em with a bow. Not a lot of birds, and hunting National Forest Land. Mostly big timber and hills.

I have a better place to bowhunt them now with more birds too.

Killed probably 15 with a shotgun before I switched over to only bowhunting them about 5 years ago. Killed another dozen or so since then with the bow. It is a blast to shoot them with a bow. It would be hard to take out the shotgun at this point, but I'm sure I'll do it again someday.
