Team 9 Morning Thunder Offical Thread

I'll start scouting two weeks before my season starts to find out where they'er roosting , dusting , struting and feeding and then find a good spot along there route to ambush them.
I'll be using my Double Bull gorund blind for concealment and doing a little calling , I might set out my BobbleHead breeding pair from BuckWing products to help lure the big boss tom in.
Good luck to all of you and be safe out there , have we settled on a team name yet.
With bloodcreek accepting the honor and duties of team captian , it's up to the rest of us to come up with a name

I'll be hunting almost exclusively on public land. I will do my best to roost birds and then set up a ground blind in the evening. Then sneak back in at dark:30 in the morning and try to call them in. I have only made one other attempt at bowhunting birds and managed to have a few hens come in but no Toms. I hope its different this year. I'm really looking forward to my New Mexico trip to try and get a Merriam. The one trip I make on private land this year I will be focusing on getting my wife her first turkey. If that gets done i'll be trying a bow bird there as well. If I were to get EXTREMELY lucky, I could kill 6 birds this year. Two in NM, and four in Tx.

I keep trying to get out and shed hunt and do a little scouting but we keep getting snow, just when I think I could see a shed on the ground we get more snow!!!! I am so ready for turkey season to get here!!! I am hoping that the winter weather does not hurt the turkeys. Good Luck to all of you this season, Lets put a few down!!!

Although I was the one that suggested ( Gobbler Buuster's ) I do like the sound of Morning Thunder a whole lot better ... so my vote goes for Morning Thunder.
