I just wish they'd let me take both in one day. I have to chose either or, which stinks since you usually see the does hours before the bucks move. If I go East of the Mountains I can take two a day. I plan on taking a few does this year. I'm out of tenderloins.

Finally back to somewhat of a normal life now, the last few weeks have been hectic. Had my bday, today is dads bday, dealing with UofM hospital with my mom, trying to get a chance to get in the field for alittle scouting. PHEW But im back... lol

Have a few good pics from the last week or so on trail cam but the big boys seem to like to come out around 9pm. Just under 3 weeks til I hopefully get my first shot!

Good luck Gary.

I had to do a part time job Sunday but my brother went out on some private we hunt and see
a nice 6 point with a doe. Then [:@]with about a half hour left he seen a huge buck with points
everywhere by my ladder stand thrashing brush like crazy. Game is on for me boys.

Good luck Gary! Shoot a dandy, will ya! Stay After him Peak!

I had a good weekend chasing elk-didn't see any, but nonetheless. The elk camp is all set up for my English/Illinois friends. They should arrive Thursday night. Our Colorado mountains are vibrant with colors right now. The aspen are absolutely beautiful!

ttfn...

Anyone been out? I hung a stand, and alternate,in a good spot this weekend (and hyper-extended my left thumb). Acorns were already falling all around. Looks like a good crop of white and red. Chestnuts are falling in my yard and deer are coming down to that too. Haven't seen the big boy again yet.
