Nice mounts Erik. It appears those are all on the same wall. Must be a big wall :D Love the bears ! I don't have any:( Just started hunting last year and shot a doe. I thought about getting her mounted since it was my first kill but thought that might be weird. I've seen some doe mounts now and wish I would have. If I get a doe this year I may have it mounted. Who's going to know it wasn't my first;)

Speaking of avatars.....Hope I didn't step on any toes bowman and mohunter82 with the avatar. I was just playing around one night and threw that together. Be glad to go with what you guys come up with.

your good. I've been working alot of overtime and really haven't had alot of time to do much lately. It actually looks good to me. nice and simple. almost like our team flying under the radar like a stealth bomber just waitning to attack.

Nothing wrong with nice doe mount... there is a pic of one in the taxidermy forum in the pics of taxidermy work section that is unbelieveable.
I will probably do one someday as well.

Tell you what, I really like the avataars, simple, to the point, and they really jump out

and look......we all got nametags on them :D

if the wind holds up, gonna go out filming again for what I see as the last time out before the season.

all the early summer bucks have disappeared, almost hoping that they are on the neighbors eating acorns and not that I alerted them to my presence and they went nocturnal.....

Found this picture laying around, will have to try and get some more together.

But this is my last buck (3 seasons ago already......had a 'missed' one season, and a didn't see anything close enough to shoot)
