Congrats Chris. At least you've had something in range. all I've had is a doe and I got her. Saw a nice big boddied buck 2 weekends ago but nowhere even close.

Now all I have to do is tag one of these big Iowa Dudes running the timbers& we will be set.
Couple big ones taken near where I hunt but I have yet to see any from stand.
I did see a nice BIG BUCK right after getting to my Jeep tonight-nothing from stand.
I saw a good 8, 2 mornings ago.

Saw a fork horn chase 4 Does around a field at 60 yds. riightt at dark tonight-they all ran into the timber & wanted nothing to do with him.

Wish I was out hunting right now. Good luck to everyone else. I am in the hospital right now waiting for my fiance to have our baby boy. I can't wait! Getting anxious. Hopefully tomorrow he will be born!

I will be hunting the late season more this year now and hopefully I will put one on the ground for us.

Noah, my daughter will be a year old on Thursday. Kids are a wonderful gift, spoil that little guy, ok!! [8D]Hope everything goes smooth, post pics when you get a chance!

Hey guys,

Back from Iowa, what a trip. I killed the biggest buck of my life but unfortunately made a poor shot and didn't recover him until a few days later. I also killed a small buck here in PA before i left for Iowa, but in the rush to leave never got it entered or notified anyone so i am not even sure they will allow me to enter it. I guess we will see. BBmaster and Hungar congrats on the fine bucks hopefully i will get to enter mine.
