Season opens here on september 15th. I will also be hunting in Ohio in early october.

One of my best excuses to go hunting was because the Kansas archery season opened on my birthday, (oct. 1) but alas, they have now changed it to Sept. 22nd. With that said, I will be in the woods on sept. 22nd.

Have a great time! I have my own party, the fire department party, and my best freinds party all this weekend. Im gunna be super busy so the only time i will probably be on is late at night, if i dont post for a bit, dont fret .

Not to be stealing an avatar, but i saw one that had a buck standing broadside, about that time, you see an arrow fly thru the air striking the buck, the arrow disappears and you start to see the blood flow down the buck, it is freaking sweet.

How about a buck standing broadside with about 20 arrows protruding from him, lol. guess it would look like one tough buck, lol. the thing would look like one of the shields from the movie 300, or 2 arrows in an X atop a buck, hmmmm . i havent a clue.

Not many plans for this weekend, will be going to Lakeside for a cookout with my sisters family,and a fun day of swimming for the kids, i will probably be self-serving myself with Coronas and a lime. Shooting my bow, plan to start getting my hunting clothes all washed and ready to go, would like to do a little more scouting, wife works monday so i will be out for most of the day checking things. i have alot of new hunting ground this year and need to look it over much more thoughly, i have my topos ready to go but need to do some crop verification. also going to give my decoy a fresh paint job. anything to do with getting ready for the coming season.

After this weekend my work is switching me from 330-11 shifts to 8-4. It will be Monday-Friday and i will now have the weekends off. Basically it means im going to have alot more $ and ill be hunting every evening, and mornings on the weekends. I still would like to buy 2 or 3 more stands and get some new clothes for this year. Archery wise i have all i need. I might invest into another camera as well. Rubber boots are a must for this season as well.

I have quite a bit going on this weekend. I am going to the Iowa game with my dad tomorrow. Have a birthday bash to go to tomorrow night, and then Sunday and Monday I will more than likely be out on the Mississippi drinking some Bacardi and Cokes! I might try to fit a little catfishing in there on Sunday morning with pops as well!! I was supposed to be going to the Lake of the Ozarks next weekend, but 3 people backed out, and that made it very expensive!! So I have to let loose on the home field this weekend instead!!!
