Only 12 days left for me. I am going to hunt in KY this year but I don't think I am going to go this early yet. Here in Indiana my county gets to start on the 15th. I am going to try and get out there opening day.I already have a good spot picked out to go to. It is right at an intersection of two ditches where the deer travel down. And all around me is soybeans and behind me is corn. It is an awesome early season spot.

with the pictures im gettin this year that might jus have to happen.. the last 2 or 3 years ive had at least one guy worth shootin that was reallynice not huge jus nice for around here, this year i aint got squat.... or it could be my standards have risen[:-]....

Dave, Let me see what I can do for you. your in The far north east of Md and I hunt Montgomery county. I have a few spots that you certainly could come down and hunt. I just need to see how those spots are this year. One was my honey hole but unfortunately, I now share it with a park ranger that is clueless when it comes to hunting. I use to see monsters several times every season. Since he has been hunting there, I've seen one and it's not because they aren't there, it's because he insists on over hunting it, not arriving a good hour before legal hours and/or leaving an hour after legal hours when all deer have safely moved on.

Anyway, let's talk meat. I have 9 racks of pork ribs and 4 butts ready to hit the grill in the morning for a good feast tomorrow night. Looks like I will have a huricane/football party and I may take a pick to show it all off to everyone. Have a good weekend, I plan to!
