Just got back from this mornings hunt...only had a few does come into the stand. Gonna go back out to the same spot this afternoon for an evening hunt. Hopefully it goes a little better than this morning.

I've seen one deer since the beginning of the season.
No tracks NOTHING, it's like if all the deer suddenly disappeared. There have been A LOT of subdivisions around the property I hunt, I think some of those properties were bedding areas, and now they went somewhere else, they sure ain't where I'm hunting. I have some public land that I can hunt. Going to go do some scouting there hopefully tomorrow to get a feel of the deer population there and where they go.

ugh, been pretty busy around the house this weekend and didn't have time to go back out after saturday morning. gonna see if i can get out tomorrow morning or evening, would love to go back and sit that last stand again for a while...i think there's some big boys cruisin' around there.

26 and counting for me!!!!! And to be honest with ya....it seems closer than that. I have this coming weekend to cut firewood, my bestfriend's wedding the next (what a loser), the weekend before to check, check and recheck gear, and then its here.
