Hello guys,
I spent yesterday(day off) in the woods again.
I got a lot accomplished. Hung another stand. Scouted 2 more spots.
I need to buy a couple more stands to cover what I want to. My wife is going to kill me.
I haven't SEEN anything in the way of buck sign lately, but I know where they travelled last year and I put another stand in a travel corridor.
I sent my GT500 back to the dealer AGAIN. It should be back next week.
A week and a half till the opener. At least I have the Synergy.

Johnny, It sounds like a great spot and it pays to talk face to face to land owners. I hope it pays off for you. A 150 is a GREAT deer.

It's all sounding good guys.

I have today and two more days to suffer through, and then I'll be on the stand. I'm already jittery and losing sleep. I really need Saturday to get here quickly.

I never sleep well the night before. It's strange how a 49yr old man can loose sleep over archery hunting.
I'll admit it. I am a wreck going over everything in my mind the night before a hunt.
I'm always second guessing my stand choice for the morningand wondering if the other stands will be better.

I know the feeling well, and I'm not far behind you. In fact, I just turned 45 today. Yippee. Too bad I don't get my birthday off. Then I could spend the day going through my gear, counting the minutesand making myself even more jittery.

We may well be one of the oldest teams here. I'm 51!

Good luck all, I still have a week to go for Il Oct 1 opener.

I guess I better start washing my stuff. I've been so busy , I forgot to do it.
I'm condensing down this year to 4 sets.
I have some good news...i'll have my primary bow back on Monday.

Glad to hear you'll have your bow back. Almost all of my gear is washed, air dried and bagged now. One more day and a wake-up and it's showtime. Tomorrow is going to be a long day......[8D]
