Hey guys. Sorry about the delay in checking in. I didn't realize they chose teams already.
I'm in Maryland our season starts Sept 15th. Been busy scouting and hanging stands, can't wait to start slinging arrows.

Welcome Lefty!! Why don't you tell us a little about yourself??? If you read through the pages most have us have written a little bio about ourselves to share...
We only have one more guy to get checked in now!! we need team name ideas and or a vote towards the already suggested names and a vote for captain...so far I have been nominated but if someone else wants it I wont stand in the way...

Our last missing player is a young lady that shot a nice buck last year with her crossbow. I sent her an email yesterday so hopefully she checks in soon.

30 years old, been bowhunting since I was 12 so were looking at 18 years now. Married, 2 kids, a 2 1/2 year old girl and 1 month old boy.
Basically live to hunt and fish, bowhunting is my #1 love but I do a lot of waterfowl hunting and other bird hunting. I shoot a High Country TSS bow, one of the better bows ever made in my opinion. Every year I go out to look at new bows and shoot the Mathews and Bowtechs and Hoyts and I still havn't found one that feels or shoots better than my TSS.
I was on the team that won this contest the very first year "the Elite 8" so I got some experience with this thing. I have killed a buck for the contest every year so far ranging from 75" to 120".
I think the key to winning is number of bucks not as much size. If you can get 10 75" bucks we would be in real good shape.

I've been duck hunting on the Estern Shore since 2000. It's the only thing that comes close to the adrenaline rush of archery hunting.
Quantity definitely matters. It would be nice if we get a few 100" in there too though.
