For the last few days, I've noticed a wiggle in my arrows when I shoot. Because it had been shooting so well, and was set up right, I pretty much ignored it figuring it was something I was doing. After about 4 days I decided to look into it. Sure enough, my centershot was off. Man, am I glad I know how to work on my own equipment, I had it fixed in about 10 minutes. Now, I guess I'm not slowing down as much downrange w/out the wiggle, because I'm shooting just a tick high.

Arras are flying straight again, and hitting where I want them. My confidence is back up, and I'm ready to rock! Season opens Monday.....Probably wont' get out till Friday.

Oh I hope to get 'em. Glad to hear you got your arrows fixed. I have no idea how it happened but my backup bow was messed up. My fault but I think I tied on my D-loop with the bottom where I wanted the top and had not shot it. Well I was making sure all was good and found it. I cut that one off and put on a new one and am again shooting great with that one as well. Like you said it is great to be able to do your own work. Also great to know Ihave 2 bows shooting perfect for the season.

Sorry i haven't checked in for a while now. Been pretty busy with work and stuff. Actually enrolled in the fire academy starting in Feb. Figured it's time for a career change, can't sit a desk any longer. Here are some photos of my family.

COngrats on the academy dstubb. I was a firefighter/emt for 10 years, it's an exciting job to be sure. Best of luck....

*sigh* Negative. We really are working on it though. But I gotta be at least a little honest here......I'm kind of enjoying not having internet at home. I'll have it back up and running pretty soon though. Promise.

Good luck with the fire academy Stubb.

Looks like I have rain in the forcast all day tomorrow. I'll still be out in the trees as long as it is just rain. I do have rain gear I purchased so it would be kind of a stupid purchase if I was to stay in if it rains. Anyway Sunday morning looks like it will be real good so I hope to post back monday with at least a doe kill.
