What's with this, no one has posted on here in a day in a half. What happened to all the gung ho stuff:D. Let's refortify and go in for the kill in the second half, at least break into the top 10.AF you lead the charge and down that brute you have been chasing for 2 months. The window of opportunity is fast closing.

It is getting to be the end. Our gun season opens tomorrow which always causes problems. I will be getting out a little more but probably not much. I feel much like MO. I hunted hard again this year and always right tree at the wrong time. Blew that shot on that 8 point very early and that was it. He would have only scored in the 80's or so but it sure would have been nice.

Hey guys just want to let you know I finally got my buck scored and he came in at a whopping 71 3/8[8D] I know he isn't a monster but every little bit helps right?

Gun season starts here in Mdthis Sat the 29th. Myself and DaveH will be out there with a bow. We have a great excape run on his property to set up on as all the surrounding property will have the gun hunters on it. Should be a good hunt.

Ya'll, I had a crappy weekend. I had to stay home with my youngest daughter Friday, she had strep throat. I left for the farm Friday evening and sat all day Saturday. I saw 2 little ole does about 10:30, that was it. Then, whatever bug my daughter had kicked in that evening, and I came home early Sunday morning. When I get home, my dog isn't doing well and we eventually ended up putting him down yesterday. I don't know why life has to be so damn hard, but it is sure can be. Anyway....

Hey Guys I wanted to let you know I made a mistake on my score for my buck. It was actually 75 4/8 not 71 3/8. Every point counts ya know.

Sorry to hear about your luck Don. Keep yer chin up life will get better. i know what its like to have what feels like the world crashing down on you. Been there, all too much these past few years. Keep after them buck. You'll get one down. Use the power of positive thinking. LOL

Well im back from my week of gun season in the big woods.i had fun but didnt shoot anything, seen a few small bucks but nothing worth shooting.
