Craig, its a fairly common problem. I shoot Thunderheads and have had them fly slightly different than broadheads before. I normally stop shooting field points a few weeks before bow season and switch only to broadheads.I was told sometimes if your bow isnt perfectly paper tuned the broadhead blades can slightly change the flight as the blades willexagurate aerodynamic properties. I would make a post on the main bowhunting forum, lots of real experienced guys there that work at pro shops that probably can answer your question more accurately. Silver probably can help here as well.

Thanks Josh. I'll give it a try tonight. It's really tough to get in to see the folks at our local pro shop so I think I'm going to have to try to work this out myself...with a lot of help from ya'll.

Move your rest to the right about 1/16" and try shooting both again. Your field points will hit right, but it should bring both closer. Just move your rest in the direction you want the arrow to go. After you get them hitting together, readjust your sight. If you need anymore help, I'll be in the Baltimore area in a few days.

Okay all you experts out there, help me out.
For some reason I'm having trouble getting my broadheads to hit with and group like my field points. With the FPs I can put 4 in the target with all of the shafts touching each other...exactly where I aim. With my BHs, they are shooting left by about 6" and not grouping nearly as tight as my FPs.
This was not a problem last year and I have not changed a single thing.
If it matters, I'm shooting Muzzy, 100 fixed blades.
Thanks for any help.

Checking back in guys... With everything going on about my new job and moving, it's hard to be on here on a daily basis. Equipment wise, I'm gtg. Still have yet to get knocking on some landowner doors, although I've got some pretty strong leads.

GAME ON!! I leave tonight, my bow season starts tomorrow morning. I'll be hunting all day Sat on the Eastern Shore of NC on my buddies farms, thenall day Monday andTuesday in Maryland. We'll see what happens. NC isnt known for big deer but these farms have some decent bucks on them. I'll check in when I can.

Had a GREAT weekend with my daughter and her friend who came to visit from college. Yesterday we went to the National Aquariaum in D.C. and today got out on the water today for some tubing and skiing.A simplyawesome weekend and now looking forward to tomorrow...
Up at 0430,in my stand by 0515, first shooting light at 0615. Got my arrows refletched and center shot adjusted and groups are tight and dead on. I have a good wind for tomorrow morning...although a litttle strong. Tomorrow afternoon may be a little shakey for what I have planned and the NW wind my cause me to change my plans, but I will at least be hunting somewhere.
Best of luck to everyone and really looking forward to some reports of success...even if it's just sightings or does taken. I know that I'll take a doe without hesitation if I get the change. Getting low on meat and kids are asking for more jerkey.

Good luck Craig!! I'll be out all day as well. I have a few decent bucks patterned, hopefully they will come by my stand.
Our hunt in NC didnt work out to well. We had a great time, but had very hot conditions (99degs)along with a full moon which made conditions tough. I did have a solid 135"-140" buck about 90 yards out but he didnt come any closer. Saw him at first light with some Does, and saw a few more Does a few minutes later but that was it for the entire day. Im hoping for better luck tomorrow here in MD. I'll be hunting every day from here out so its a matter of time before I get a shot. I just aquired another 3,000 acres to hunt today and was driving around the property for 3 hours today with the owner in his gold cart to get a tour of the properties which all adjoin each other. A large family owned property. The owner didnt hunt last year, but has taken some nice bucks up to 160" and asked me to try and take only 3.5+ year old bucks which is fine with me. I'll get some stands hung there in the upcoming weeks as I learn the property. But right now, I already have a few good properties I already have the deer patterned so Ill concentrate on these properties first.
