I won't even begin to describe my hunting issues, I am currently completing a over haul, starting over, new arrows, new vanes, I am not impressed with those Easton Axis arrows or the Blazer vanes, it might be just mental, but I am going back to GoldTips and 3" vanes. So how much longer does everyone have in their archery seasons?
I have until the 15th of Nov. Then it goes out until after Christmas. I can however carry a bow during Rifle, which I may do, I haven't decided yet. |

My Bow season goes until Nov 28, then its out for two weeks (gun season, and I can carry a bow) then its back in until end of jan...
I went out last night, saw 4 different bucks and 6 does, the biggest buck was probably 14" wide 6pt. he got a free pass. I called in a fork horn... They are really on the move now, I used my can on the fork horn and he started horning a tree real intense then came in grunting... He was looking for love in all the wrong places! Cant wait till this weekend, I will be out Fri-Sun :) Going to try to take a doe on camera tomorrow morn! Wish me luck! |

Made it out this morning didn't get sick :)seen doe,fawn,fork and a little 6pt all of them were offering but I had to pass its buck time. Couple others I couldn't make out.
Ill take a doe out tonight if I'm given the chance or hopefully a nice buck. I'm taking Max out for his 3rd hunt so he would probably freak if we seen a buck thats all he ever talks about. My season goes until Dec 31st I'm taking next thurs and friday 6th and 7th off gun season opens the 8th this year. |
