Well todays update:

I went out this morning and got in the tree and was just hanging my bag up whenI caught a deer sneaking past 30yds to my left? I dont know if I jumped him or if my brother did a couple hundred yards away?
Im sittin there and at about 7:45 I hear deer running directly behind and underneath me and catch a small 4pt right behind the tail of a lil fawn with a big doe behind the buck! The neat thing is the buck was grunting along the whole way....??? I know it's nothing rut related but unusual I thought! The deer just had to stop running 5yds away and start looking around, I was froze in the tree and couldnt move so needless to say I watched my freezer filler doe walk 30yds to my right in the greenbriars and THICK nasty stuff and feed for prob 20mins!! All three deer couldnt have been no more then 30yds away and I could not see them AT ALL, I could hear them!! Thats just how thick this junk is I am hunting!! I have a couple shooting lanes out to about 25yds in front of me and to my left! I have hunted the spot three morning and seen 4 different bucks and6-7 does so far! That dont seem like much, but for this land I hunt its swell!!

I am going back out tonight and will try out an Oak flat! Hopefully a freezer filling update later!!!!

Ok Leave it to Beaver....where's Walley?

Ok, This morning I finally had enough, so I wake up at 2:45 a.m go p/u my friend Justin,I drive 2 hours South, get to where I hunt, hike back in, set up the video camera (1st time ever doing that) it's humid, I am sweating like crazy, skeeters are out in force, I drop my thermacell down to Justin, tell him to lite it, 5 min. later no more skeeters, at about 6:45 Justin hears something walking in the creek....nothing ever appears, must have been a coon....at about 8:30 I was kinda wishing I had brought my .22, squirrels EVERYWHERE dropping big azz Walnuts all over the place....at 8:45 I had enough, and drove all the way home.....didn't see a single deer...sure glad it ISNT deer season here yet. Once they start picking corn it will change for the better in dramatic fashion. Or at least I hope.

No matter how cold it gets out there I GO HUNTING! The best thing about her is she eats everything I bring home. She has a taste of country in her......Solo, I like the fishing pictures and nice bass! I like how are team mate got us back on task by posting deer pictures!
Deer? What are those? Man I can't wait to post some pics of my deer. Ya, it sucks that you and Seth are Michigan fans, but it's cool that your wife tries new things, my wife would have no part of it, she's "city" through and through. [:@]Have youbeen seeing any nice deer lately?

Good morning Guys,
Been real busy @ work and it will just get more so for
the next 5 weeks or so with our refueling shutdown. Have
made it out twice more, still no deer but I did have a black bear
stroll by me. No bear tag for N.H. and he really didn't present
a good shot anyway. Only the third bear I've ever seen so it was
real neat!!
