Just talked to my brother, he lives in New Mexico...he just got back from 8 days of Elk hunting....Man hehad a rough trip, he is usually dead on with his bow, his Elk 3 years ago was a 68 yd. shot and his Mule Deer last year was 72 yds. Well he missed 3 bulls 2 of them scoring 330-350" he said... and stuck a much smaller one in the neck, and couldn't find it....he thinks he bumped his sight and it moved, cause the Elk was only 35 yards broadside and he put his pin in the vitals but hit him in the neck. He followed blood for .34 miles according to his GPS and then it just stopped. He is pretty depressed today. IT sounded awesome though, he said 2 or 3 nights ago it was a full moon and walking back to his camp he looked out into a meadow and seen a giant Bull chasing all the satalite bulls away from his cows and buglingthe whole time, and with the moon light reflecting the tips of his horns, he said he can't really even describe the view in words...Man that would be awesome, I've went out there 2 times and it is a totally cleansing experience, but never got into the bulls like he did this year....the year I did not go[]

Seth- Ya he comes home every once in awhile...last year he bought a gun tag, and sucked it up.. he seen 38 deer opening morning but the biggest buck was around 120" so he waited...on the evening of day 2 he seen the 120 again and shot at it 4 times, never touched it, shot at another buck 3 times, out of shotgun shells he switched to his .357 and on day 3, the last day he shot 8 or 9 times and FINALLY killed a mature Doe.

Here's an idea..next time he comes out how about taking him to the gun range before hitting the woods..[&:]haha!! If I am counting right he missed 15-16 times, I would have been ready to jump out the tree after the first missed shot!! the man has dedication!!

They should be just fine!! How o you store your clothes after you dry them? What kinda scent spray do you use??
A lil hint hint if ya dont do it..it works great... buy some fresh earth dryer sheets or freesh earth wafers and place them in whatever you store your clothes in!! The wifey might not like how ya smell...but the deer sure dont mind..IMO!!
