WesternMD - I guess you figured it out, its for each weapon. I think the bonus buck tag is like 10 bucks. Half of my family & friends are DNR guys so I'm well aware of the regs

Big day for me tomorrow guys!!! I'm hunting the old family farm in the morning, then I'll head back to another farm after the double main beam buck.

The old family farm could be hit or miss, it usually has a ton of deer on it, but last year we got hit real bad w/ blue toungeand it killed off close to 75% of our deer. This year seems to have improved a little (no blue tounge). But I havent been scouting down there except once, so I have NO IDEA whats there, I'm just going on old info (been hunting it since i was 5). If a 115" buck strolls by I'll be taking it. I'm going to try the oaks again. There is corn on all the fields so this could be a dissaster, but I've got a patch of oaks surrounded on 3 sides by Marsh/Water and a bedding area on the other side. I hope to catch them coming from corn to acorns on their way to bed!

Weather will be AWESOME for early Sept hunting. High of 68! and morning lows in the 50s!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll also be hunting sat too!

WOW Seth !!! I think I am jealous of all that activity your getting!!
Just kidding; but to me it is almost as much fun watching the deer
as actually shooting one. Please note the ALMOST. With a little traveling you can shoot a boatload of deer compared to here. Max number in VT. and N.H. is 3 deer per state and that is all seasons combined!! You can shoot 2 in each state during archery; one doe and one buck only. Overall success rate for each state is 13-14%.

Dennis,
That guy is awesome!! When do you get to go after him?

Hey guys...I just noticed something kind of strange....that deer I've been watching...go topage 48 and look at his tail....every pic his tail is almost straight out, and I looked back on some pics that I've never posted on here and his tail is sticking straight out in those as well.

Another Morning Update:

Well I got out this morning to the same treestand I hunted yesterday. I only saw all does and fawns today! At about 7:45 I had a couple big does and a few fawns come in, 5-6 I am not really sure its too thick! I didnt have any shot opp's on any does but had two lil fawns under me for ten minutes or so! I got it all on video, but it looks like I was hittin the bottle before trying to record the deer[&:]!! I have a really hard time trying to focus in on just one deer when there are others around and plus like I said it's so thick I can hardly find em through the camera!!

I did get good footage of a Fox Squirrel that decided to come down the tree I was in about ohhh a foot above my head! The damn thing would not leave me alone for I bet 15mins, it was anywhere from 1 ft o 10ft away the whole time trying to figure out what I was!!
You just know the damn things are thinking "I wonder if I can land on his head??"!! Haha, but other then that just enjoyed the morning!!
I believe I will be back out tommorow morning and saturday also!! I will keep you all updated!!

Ohhh and if anyones wondering I do have a job, just bunches of vacation to use up before I start at the state prison as a guard in a couple weeks!!

Also does anyone know the reason why god put those @**#%ng lil briars that are shaped like football's on this earth???? You know the ones that geton you by the thousands!!!What is there purpose besides pissin me off[:@][:@][:@]!!!!! I am done venting!!!!!
