ORIGINAL: HuntingEd Dont need the safety harness, I actually use a climbing harness (gives me great mobility)... Anyway I'll try to get some pics of my arrows soon. I spent all night last night after work framing my basement. I've got 2 weeks till the season, and I want to get as much done so I dont feel too pressured to finish the basement. I figure by monday I'll be done framing and have all the doors hung! Its exciting. I hoping to save enough $$ by doing it myself to put a HD projector down there, that is my motivation. 108" screen in HD showing football games w/ a mini bar that has a beer tap and a keg kept at 37 deg! OH it will be nice. I'll post pics when I get to that level.. |

On another note, checked my camera tonight, and go a ton of pictures of the buck on the first page. He's added a few inches on each tine. I cant wait to send one through him. |

I'm going to get a lone wolf sit and climb. I've racked up a bunch of cabelas points. So it wont cost me much at all!

At least Dove season starts on Monday, it will give me a chance to put some form of camo on:DHey guys, I got my HSS vest in the mail today...that thing is AWESOME!!! If you guys don't have one, they are on sale online at Basspro for $59...its the tree stalker version, I think the only difference with this and the $100+ oneis that the tree stalker isn't ventilated...but it's a vest...theres ventilation.

solo - how long is the tether on the HSS?
I hate when its above your head you cant draw a bow when facing the tree. It cost me a deer two years ago. |

Ed, I am not sure, It came in the mail like 20 min. before I had to leave to come to work, so I had time to rip open the package and just do a "fit test" but I am guessing prob. 2ft? I will measure it in the morning when I get home.

Everyone have a safe holiday weekend. Plan on hanging out at my pool and entertaining some friends and family so I probably won't be on much until Tuesday.

You could hear a pin drop in here today where is everyone?. Everybody have a good Labor Day. I've been throwing the Idea of crossing the border this weekend and doing some hunting in North Dakota but I'm sure my wife will shoot that down real quick. I'm sure she'll want to go out on the lake.

I think our team is ready for Oct to get here (or whenever your season starts) we are tired of talking, we need to launch some arrows at deer with headgear.
