No... You didn't jinx me:DI could be the first to score but our team would come it last:D:D:DThere is a 1x2 legal buck that comes under my stand every morning so if it gets down to the last few days...:DI might just have to let the arrow fly!

Happy Birthday Solo! I'll be turning 31 on Tuesday. As to what type of bowhunter I am, I'll hold out for bigger deer for my area. I shoot does for meat.

September 27 cant come fast enough! I started getting things situated yesterday when I was cleaning out the garage. I take my scent control pretty freakish but no need to get into that entire process yet. I will be out for the opener of dove season on the first of September, do you any of you guys dove hunt?

Monday, Sept. 15, is opening day in N.H. I have that day off and after that I'll hunt Fri., Sat., Sun. Unfortunately,Vermont Yankee goes into a refueling outage on Oct. 11, for five weeks. During this time I'll be working 12.5 hr. days 6 or maybe even 7 days/week. Needless to say this doesn't leave much hunting time! A big bonus is the season is open till Dec. 15,
and I do have a week off during Thanksgiving. I have never in all my years hunting, looked forward to a season more than this one!!!

Good luck OldVT. wouldnt it be great if you scored on opening day???

I'm probably going to take 1/2 day on our opener (Sep 15) then I'll hunt fri & sat.
