36 pages already? Are you lads gonna hunt or just talk about it? LOL...
Oh my dear friend Will, as soon as it's legal, that's mostly all I'll be doing. I have your passion so you know. Good luck this season and meeting you in NC in Nov isn't out of the question yet.

wow Rybo, i had no idea you were hunting with shed!! thats awesome!! and theres a great possibility for you guys to put down some major bone...elk or whitetail....that sounds like an awesome trip!!

i just got back from Cabelas....im somewhat dissappointed...i think my hopes were too high lol...they had a TON and i mean a TON of stuff, but everything i wanted they didnt have lol.

the animal displays are AWESOME...i forgot the camera so no "horn porn" but boy, starring at 170+" bucks DOES NOT get old!!!! i could been in there alllllll day easy looking and reading about the bucks...aquarium was pretty awesome...even had a sweet indoor STREAM with some BIG trout in it! and i moose in the "pond" that was killer....they did an outstanding job with the mounts and scenery...

did get some replacement blades for my muzzys, a Scentloc shirt that was onsale for 40$ which is a dang good price..wanted rubber boots, a scentlock mask or hood, and scentloc gloves...NOTHING i liked...so i scratched the scentloc from the requierments and still couldnt find anything i liked...im super picky on gloves..i will litterally freeze before i hunt with gloves i dont like...they were all either too thin or too thick...found 2 or 3 pairs that would due and the fingers were a good 1"+ too long [:@] couldnt find a pair of rubber boots i liked...treid on a ton of different brands...lacrosse won, but i didnt like the particular boot they had in stock...so i dont know what im gunna do bout the rubber boot situation....might have to break the law and bowhunt in LEATHER boots bathing and spraying in DDW and wearing scentloc or order the pair i want....i dont know...

Well guys, I have been up to check the cams and found a great looking 8 pointer and moved my stand a few yards to make sure i get the best chance without spooking.

I leave in 1 week for opening weekend!

Good luck all!

No dove hunting for me yet, its been to hot and work is not cooperating.....maybe this Sunday.

I have two important stand sites to get ready this weekend. One in a fencerow. Both spots are legitimate big buck spots. I call them spots because the fencerow site has only 1-2 trees that are viable for a treestand. It(fencerow) divides two cornfields and playing the wind is very crucial due to their travel patterns. The other stand site is on another property about 2 miles away. I'll have a stand up near a creek with a standing cornfield on the south side of the woods. Its thick and brushy. I've taken numerous deer here the last few years, but hopefully can close the deal on a 4 1/2-5 1/2 yr. old buck who is in the surrounding area. Being impatient and not trusting my initial sighting in thick brush ultimately cost me a shot at him 2 yrs. ago. He came in only minutes after taking a nice 8 pt. That cornfield gives me a better shot this season at him this season, simply because of the additional cover it will provide.

Heck, glad Rob mentioned it. I need to wash my clothes also and right now is a good time to do it before I go to bed.

Glad to see you back.

I had that issue with one post but it took me a while to post it so maybe it timed out. I hit my back button on my keyboard and reposted it.
