Just checked in as our electric has been off due to the high winds of Hurricane Ike.

My name is Darryl and live in the Northern most part of Kentucky 'bout 12 miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio.

I usually hunt between 60 and 75 days out of the season and hunt Kentucky and Ohio, most of them are all day hunts.
I've got my eye on two different bruisers here in Kentucky that will beat the current Kentucky State Record ... my best friend currently holds the record at 204 and 2/8ths Typical.

I'm going out today and stay for a couple of days and see if I have the big boy on a trail cam ...

Full Report when I get back!

Let's come up with a name ...

Sure, Lead Heads is fine by me. I wonder if there's a double meaning there.

Good luck on the big boy, 2Poppa.

Anyone been doing any hunting? i was out bowhunting in SE MN last weekend but the temps were to high. it got up to mid 80's during the day. deer activity was pretty minimal, but my brother ended up taking a nice 8 pt. hopefully i will get enoughstuff done this weekend and get out at my place if the temps are right.

good luck

Wats goin on all?! Getting out in the woods for the first time this year tomorrow for bow season. It has gotten effin cold over the last three days and I am just LOVING it. Everybody at work is bitchin and all I can do is smile, god I love this time of year.

I hate to say it but I have a feeling im gonna be getting the monster around my land during bow and not gun season. BUT if that happens im gonna change my hunting pattern and head to the other swamp and lowland and take out another hoss. But I have said that before. haha

I hunt in southwestern michigan and cant wait to put up some numbers for our team...
