Leland, at least you had fun trying (I hope
). Better luck next year.
Travis, you got anice, tasty doe. Again, next season is now on its way.
I am also finished for the year. Our season, late archery, was finally done on Dec 10 and I actually drew on a doe. The early light was further reduced by me being under the canopy of a big pine tree and I couldn't see my pins well enough. So I just let down and watched her mosey away.
As of this coming Wednesday I will be out of commission for awhile (shoulder surgery), so I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Forget about sugar plums; may visions of these dance in your heads instead.

Anyone still hunting? We still have a couple days of bowhunting here in MN but the gun season has been done for a while now. I would love to be in the woods with a smokepole or rifle this time of year, but I jus stick to the bow.
good luck to anyone out there.

Trey (AUTiger) has scored on a nice last-day buck. With being busy looking after it, I hope he has time to get the pictures up before the contest deadline tonight.
Way to go, Trey.

Hey Guys - Just getting back to the real world - as you know our season goes out the last day of Jan. and that afternoon I scored on a nice 9 point - Would have been a 10 but looks like he never grew his G2 on the right side. Anyway he came out in the green field chasing a doe - I hit the grunt tube he stopped and that was it it about 160 yard shot with the 7MM got both the heart and lungs he went about 50yds and pilled up. He weighed 175lbs probally lost 25-30lbs chasing he was 4.5 years old and a real nice deer - I was very proud -1st 9 piont. Jack has the pics. and will post later for me.
