So do we want to go with Rut Busters? Anyone start bow seaseon yet?

rut busters is okay with me. our season opened the 13th

Name fine with me. Already took a buck in velvet and I'm working on my second tag. Have found some time though to soot a couple of geese last Sat.

rut busters sounds good to me. archery starts 10/4, ML'er starts 11/1, and rifle starts 11/15 and runs through the first saturday in january here in VA. In PA, I'll be hunting the week after thanksgiving with a rifle and then the week after christmas with the flinter.

I haven't got any big bucks on the cameras this year, but last year I shot a main frame 8 with a few stickers that went about 118" (my biggest) the guy on the farm next door shot a main frame 11 with 14 scorable points. There's some big deer where I hunt, we'll see how it goes.

Oh. Sorry I didn't see it before. I wouldnt mind getting one in velvet either.

Bow doesn't start here until 10/13. I will try to get out in CT prior to that.
I actually spend more time bow hunting than gun hunting...

That's awesome, congratulations. Unfortunately where I hunt we don't have an opportunity to harvest bucks with velvet.
